UPOlife Chief Technical Officer (co-founder level)
Hands-on part-time (or based on your availability) involvement as a co-founder.
(preferably based in Baltics or Latvia)
At UPOlife we are building tech for healthcare with a focus on heart health condition management and early prevention. β€οΈ
We empower users to use innovative technology and data analytics to monitor and be aware of their heart health.
We are addressing the following patient groups:
π People after 40 y.o.
π Chronic patients
π Health Biohackers
The solution is already available at the MVP stage with 2 options:
Continues remote monitoring & one-time Holter monitoring option.

π§ Knowledge:
In mobile and web development, the following skills would be needed:
– JavaScript / TypeScript
– React.js
– Redux
– React Native
– Advantage: Experience with Bluetooth (as we integrate some devices)
– Advantage Experience with native Android/iOS development
Backend development, the following skills would be needed:
– Java
– Spring Framework (Spring Boot)
– Hibernate
– Advantage: Relational Databases (PostgreSQL)
– Advantage: Microservices architecture
– Advantage: Docker, Kubernetes understanding
π Your drive for learning these and taking ownership of the technical development is more important to us than your previous knowledge.
π― Commitment:
You need to bring time and commitment to work on this with an equivalent of approx. 2-3 days per week (or anything else we agree on). We work asynchronously most of the time so that you can invest time whenever you are βfreeβ.
